Valentin Mihov – Manager "S.V.-RSA Bulgaria"
 
 
Valentin Mihov was born on 18 January 1954 in Sofia.

  • He started his football career at the CSKA team (juniors), then played in Lokomotiv (Gorna Oriahovitsa), Akademik (Svishtov), Cherveno Zname (Pavlikeni).
    He graduated at the Economy Academy “D.A. Tsenov”, specialty “Economy of labor and social studies” in the town of Svishtov, and after that he graduated at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, specialty “International economic relationships”.
  • He worked at the ministry of Transport – Automobile Union, district of Sofia, as a head of department. Later he became the director of International Transport and Insurance department at “Corecom”.
  • He was president of CSKA from 1990-1993.
  • President of Bulgarian Professional Football League from 1991 – 1993.
  • President of Bulgarian Football Union 1993 – 1994.
  • He is Executive director of Football Club Lovech.
  • Executive director of Football Club Slavia.
  • Since 1995 to 2008 he has been the Bulgarian representative for the German media concern UFA through the S.V. RSA company.
  • Owner of the Svishtov’s football team “Akademik” from 2000 to 2008, when he transfers it to Svishtov municipality.
  • November 14, 2007 – Valentin Mihov was appointed as a member of the European Professional Football League Board of Directors from among the twenty-five member countries at the General Assembly of EPFL in Madrid. A new Board of Directors of EPFL was elected, in which were the first five highest placed countries as: England, Italy, Germany, France, Spain and three other elected countries: Scotland, Russia and Bulgaria. The new board’s mandate will be till 2011.
  • November 20, 2008 – Valentin Mihov became an “Honorary President” of the Bulgarian-Austrian Management Forum.
  • President of the Bulgarian Professional Football League since 1996 to june 2010.
