$11 000 for each team on the screen

Each professional team shall get five times more money from television rights in comparison with
the last year, the President of PFL Valentin Mihov announced at the signing of a new sponsorship
agreement with “Zagorka” brewery. The agreement guarantees revenue of $11 000 for each team, whose
match is going to be broadcasted on TV, while the teams on the screen got $2-3 thousand so far.
"Our purpose is to reach USD 15-20 thousand for a match – Mihov added. – At the moment we negotiate
a main partnership and for the time being BNT has an advantage over Nova TV." The contract with “
Zagorka” is for the period of three years with an option of extension. The company remains the main
sponsor but it changes the trademark that will advertise. From this season on this will be “Ariana”
beer, a product of a company from Stara Zagora, which is owned by the Dutch “Heineken. "This is not
a new contract but a prolongation of the cooperation", the Dutchman Jan Derck van Karnebeek,
general manager of “Zagorka” explained. Till last year the brewery was a general sponsor of “A”
group but it surprisingly yielded this right to TBI Company. Valentin Mihov added that a new
sponsor is searched and most probably this will be a leading automobile trademark.
