It seems that BNT shall win the agreement for broadcasting the matches with a better offer than the one of “Nova TV”. "Ariana" signed a three year’s sponsorship agreement for the League, replacing “ Zagorka”. Valentin Mihov refused to announce the financial parameters but he pointed out that the sponsorship funds would ensure higher amounts for the broadcasted matches to the teams. "An agreement with an automobile company, which lies before us, will also become a main sponsor of the championship.

Thus we shall guarantee the funds, which in the near 2-3 years will increase to USD 15 000 for a match. Years ago we started from BGN 2000 for a match, now the amount reaches USD 11 000. We negotiate with BNT and “Nova TV” for broadcasting the matches of the championship but we will sign an agreement for TV rights after the lot and the preparation of the championship programme. During the new season minimum 30 and maximum 45 matches from “A” group will be broadcasted and except them the matches for the Cup of Bulgaria. With the money we will compensate the teams for the decrease in the audience’s interest towards the matches broadcasted on TV.

” The management of the Professional League will decide whether the first four teams in the ranking shall receive more money for a match as it is in the developed European countries, or the amount will be equal for every team”, Valentin Mihov added. He confessed that he meets great difficulties with ensuring sponsors because of the quality of Bulgarian championship. "I have been studying this for 10-11 years. The trademark of the Bulgarian football is not good. I thank via medias to these sponsors, who are with us for 3-4 years. And the matter is not that they invest their money in something of exclusive quality, but for a friend’s help. We have built up accurate, proper advertising relationship with them. In this way they help the Bulgarian football and the latter are still debtors to our sponsors” Mihov explained.
