HRISTO STOICHKOV AND DIMITAR DIMITROV – HERO WANTED TO BE RELEASED FROM THEIR POSITIONS

The selectionist of the Bulgarian national football team – Hristo Stoichkov had made a request to be relieved of his duties upon mutual agreement personally to the President of BFU Borislav Mihailov. Stoichkov had pointed out in his motives the gained negative ill-feeling toward the Bulgarian national team and the situation, created around it in the decisive period of the European qualification.

Hristo Stoichkov has expressed his desire to be relieved in a phone conversation with the President of BFU.

The chief manager of the national teams Dimitar Dimitrov – Hero had made a request with similar content to the President Borislav Mihailov. He had also expressed his desire to be relieved of his engagements as a chief manager and in his motives he had pointed out that he had been a part of the national team and felt bounded to leave together with Stoichkov.

Both requests are accepted and granted.
