Macedonia is suspended from FIFA and UEFA

FIFA and UEFA threatened Macedonian football federation with suspension from their structures if the Government of our west neighbor country does not stop to interfere with the work of the country Football head office, “Macfax” agency announced. “FIFA and UEFA were informed that on April 14, 2007 a few football delegates have met with the purpose to replace the officially elected present President of the Federation Haralampi Hadjiistrevski. Both organizations do not confess meetings, which will not be given national and international recognition”, representatives of FIFA and UEFA announced. Macedonia is threatened with suspension from the qualifications for the European championship in Austria and Switzerland and its recent results in “E” group will be nullified. This is the second warning from FIFA and UEFA in connection with the scandals in the Macedonian football federation.
