Valentin Mihov: The big money from television
rights comes from abroad, but there is no interest till the present moment
”The matches from the Bulgarian championship may become payable in some moment”, the
President of the Professional Football League Valentin Mihov announced. ”After the end of the
season there will be conversations for the television rights of the Bulgarian championship.
Actually, the revenues may be twice or three times higher, but in spite of this the amount will not
be especially impressive. The big money from TV rights comes, when you sell your matches abroad.
And to that moment no country has expressed its desire to broadcast a match from “A” group. It is
possible in time the rights to be closed and to pass to a payable version of broadcasting, but it
is still early to say”, Mihov shared.
