Interwetten sponsors the Handball Champions League
New Champions Partner with exclusive sponsorship package

Hamburg / 21 August 2007 – The Interwetten group, Europe’s leading sports betting agency with headquarters in Vienna and Malta, will be in on the action when the Handball Champions League kicks off on September 26th. Interwetten has signed an exclusive sponsorship deal with SPORTFIVE, the sports rights marketing agency that markets the rights to Europe’s top handball league on behalf of EHF Marketing GmbH. The new Champions Partner will launch its advertising measures with the beginning of the preliminary roud, meaning that it will be present at up to 150 games all over Europe by the time the tournament ends. Measures covered by the deal include advertising on the perimeter boards and the arena floors, as well as a logo presence on sponsor boards, the Champions League homepage, and at a range of hospitality offerings. “Being a Champions Partner fits in very well with the rest of our sponsorship activities,” declared Interwetten CEO Thomas Daubek. “The large number of games offers us an ideal basis for a building a comprehensive image as a sponsor of the Champions League.
